Therapeutic Approach

My approach is authentic, integrative, and most importantly individualized to suit your needs and support your goals for therapy

Together, we will determine which therapeutic modalities best suit your needs. For example, if you're interested in skills based work or mindfulness, we can incorporate elements of DBT. If you prefer somatic therapy, we can incorporate AEDP. If you're looking to process trauma and are not as interested in traditional talk therapy, we can incorporate EMDR.

 

And if you're not quite sure of what you're looking for, that's perfectly okay too -- we can explore the options together and adjust as needed.​ At the end of the day, my goal is to show up as my authentic self and to individualize our work together to suit you and your unique needs.  

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing

EMDR is therapeutic modality that focuses on using bilateral stimulation to  reduce the emotional impact of traumatic experiences. It is particularly effective for people with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

AEDP

Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy
 

AEDP is a therapeutic modality that focuses on fostering emotional healing through experiential and somatic techniques. It emphasizes the role of the therapeutic relationship in processing deep emotions and building resilience.

DBT

Dialectical Behavior Therapy

DBT is a therapeutic modality that focuses on developing skills to manage intense emotions, improve interpersonal relationships, and reduce self-destructive behaviors. It incorporates CBT, mindfulness, and acceptance techniques.
